Danny Rosenberg is a Managing Director of Sterling Partners, a Chicago based private equity firm with $4 billion of capital under management. A founding board member of the Illinois Venture Capital Association Danny has chaired several committees of the Board and served as Chairman from December 2007 until June 2009. He is a frequent speaker at private equity conferences, as well as industry and small business conferences, and has lectured at the Kellogg School of Management, The University of Chicago, and the University of Illinois on the private equity industry.

Sterling Partners has a 25-year history of generating superior returns. The firm invests in industries with positive, long-term trends and provides ongoing support with a diverse and balanced team of industry veterans, operators, investors, strategy experts, and human capital professionals. Sterling has offices in Chicago and Baltimore.

During his tenure at Sterling, Danny has been in a variety of leadership positions at the firm. Leveraging his 20 years of experience investing in alternative assets, Danny takes a customer-focused approach to sourcing investment opportunities, as well as in the firms' relationships with their Limited Partners. Danny is a member of Sterling's Investment Committee and currently oversees all aspects of the firm's marketing efforts. In addition, he is active in all aspects of fund operations, including deal sourcing, investment strategy and policy, firm resource allocation, personnel development, and institutional fund raising.

Danny received his BA in Economics and Public Policy from Duke University and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He lives in suburban Chicago with his wife Beth and their two children.
